John Zajac has spent more than two decades helping New Jersey families do something that most people know they should do but find surprisingly difficult to start: plan. Before joining Milvidskiy Law Group, he served as New Jersey’s Bureau Chief for Public Assistance Fraud and as in-house counsel for the Department of Human Services. Those roles gave him an unusually deep understanding of how Medicaid works from the inside, how eligibility is determined, how benefits interact with assets, and how families can find themselves caught off guard when long-term care needs arise without a plan in place. That institutional knowledge is not something that can be learned from a textbook, and it shows up in the quality and specificity of the guidance he provides.
