Andrey Milvidskiy, Esq.
Andrey Milvidskiy founded Milvidskiy Law Group on a straightforward conviction: that every family, regardless of complexity or circumstance, deserves thoughtful, proactive planning that protects what they have built. As the firm’s principal attorney, his practice centers on asset preservation, elder law, and estate and tax planning, with a particular focus on helping clients navigate the financial vulnerabilities that come with aging, illness, and life’s less predictable turns.
What distinguishes Mr. Milvidskiy is the road he took to get here. Before law, he built a successful career spanning business and real estate. He lived through the recession of 2008 firsthand, and that experience shaped everything about how he practices. He understands what it means to build something, to lose ground, and to have to rebuild. That background gives him a perspective on asset protection and wealth preservation that goes well beyond the theoretical.
That combination of business acumen and legal depth shows up directly in client work. Whether the matter involves a complex trust structure, a Medicaid spend-down strategy, a taxable estate, or a family navigating a long-term care crisis, Mr. Milvidskiy brings both the grounded instincts of someone who has built and protected real assets and the legal precision of an attorney who has spent his career in this space. For clients with business interests, investment assets, or real estate holdings woven into their estates, that dual fluency is particularly meaningful.
Mr. Milvidskiy is the author of The Law of Aging: Estate Planning and Beyond (2020), a reflection of his longstanding commitment to public education and accessible legal guidance. He is a sought-after speaker on long-term care planning and asset protection trusts, and devotes considerable time to community education, writing, and demystifying a subject that too many families approach only in crisis.
He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New Jersey State Bar Association, and is accredited by the Veterans Administration. Mr. Milvidskiy is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey, and before the federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
In his personal time, Mr. Milvidskiy enjoys reading, sailing, and spending time with his family.
